Polarized and Photochromic lenses are two different types of lens to protect against the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. But how it will be if we can combine these two functions on one lens?

With the spin coat photochromic technique, now we can achieve this goal to make this unique ExtraPolar lens. It includes not only a polarized filter that eliminates harsh and blinding glare, but also a spin coat photochromic layer that reacts spontaneously as the light condition changes. It is good choice for driving, sports and outdoors activities.

Moreover, we would like to highlight our spin coat photochromic technique. The surface photochromic layer is very sensitive to lights, providing very quick adaption to different environments of various illuminations. The spin coat technology ensures rapid change from transparent base color indoors to deep dark outdoors, and vice versa. It also makes the lens darkening color more even, much better than the regular material photochromic, especially for high minus powers.
